What type of business entity for online company?

What is the best type of business entity for a US online/hosting company?

Is it best to create an LLC in the state you live, or, create an offshore entity or LLC in a popular LLC states like Delaware or Nevada?

What are the pros and cons of each?

I'm not a pro, but would say that if you are a US resident you will be better on with a LLC in Delaware or Nevada since you won't pay any TAX there.

To go the offshore way, you will need to have a stady business with a good income to pay this, I only make a few hundred dollars a month, in my case going offshore would eat up my profit.

US residents will have a hard time to go offshore without the authorities FBI and all the others in the US catching them.

I'm not aware of if there is any Offshore Agency which is able to help, but believe it might be Trusts which are going to help here if any.

I would say from an image perspective I would go for an LLC but for the liabilities it dosen't matter if it is a Ltd or LLC.

It don't makes any difference if it is a LLC or LTD it is the product sold which makes it a success, both company forms are protecting you from liabilities.
