Many of us would have been scammed by the PTC sites. recently i was scammed of 1000$. It actually gave me a lot of mental torture to me. I have to do something legally. Is there any way? I have given my details so perfectly. And i have always obeyed their TOS. But still they are not paying me. Is there any way for me to proceed legally?

No kidding?! Can you share the web site that has scammed you? I used couple of those sites in the last month but I still haven't reach their payout minimum. Oh well, I'll wait and see.

Recently I have read about a case in the local news paper where a fraud over internet was reported to cyber cell and the culprit was tracked, trapped, fined and put behind the bars. He had made fast buck by cheating lot of online writers.

I don't think we have more options regarding this. The only possible action that I could think of is to get a case started and request the payment processor which you are using to track down the address and information of the scammer which I think happens rarely.
