Due to some unfortunate incident, we are not able to air the program stated and thus want cancellation of the whole event. Notice to the licensor was put up 2 weeks before the actual game date.
In the contract, no cancellation clause is present whatsoever. Binding effect states only that;
" upon execution by both parties, this deal confirmation is intended to be and shall be constructed to be a legally binding understanding of the parties hereto summarizing discussion to this date. This deal confirmation shall be governed by the Netherlands law."
How much damage can the Licensor bring us?
