Default Cyprus National Bankand MC/Visa Processor

When payment processor or bank becomes Visa/MC IPSP declared it means that they are collecting the funds on behalf of the merchant, meaning that they provide financial services and for this according EU regulation a licence is needed, the company would have in this case to be authorised by the Cyprus central bank. How would we go about determining if a company has such a Cypriot license?

There are people that watch things happen, people that make things happen and people that wonder what the hell just happened.

Dollars/Euros are obtainable but that was not my question!
Cypriot licensing information and its availability was the crux of the question I believe.

Thanks, however for the laugh this morning.

Simple question really, according EU regulation a licence is required to collect/process funds on behalf of a merchant.
If a Cypriot company is the collector/processor they would required to be authorised by the Cyprus central bank.
How would we go about determining if a company has such a Cypriot license/authorization?

You may ask a lawyer to send a request to the Cypriot Central Bank, I doubt they will response to a regular request from a company or individual.
