Which merchant account for my Offshore company?

Want to know which merchant account is the best for my offshore company, where do I need to make sure that I can open the merchant account!

I hear Belize is good as well as Panama and hong Kong?

Also Chronopay and Globill are good payment processors which will accept my offshore company... are their any others ?

Well, all the suggested are good, however, it will depend very much on what type of business you are into and how much monthly turnover you can bring to the bank.

You can find a lot of different MAP’s but many of them have requirements for the merchant to provide a 6 month processing history which will need to show a chargeback ratio below the 1%. Further, if you don’t care of the rates and fees and the payout schedule you can find plenty good and less good MAP’s, the real problem comes when you want to accept more than just Visa and MC, and when it comes to the loading of the payment gateway, how fast it process your transactions, which limitations the payment gateway has and which the merchant isn’t informed about. What is the decline rate are certain countries clocked, has the payment gateway any Anti Fraud system in place, other than the common MaxMind protection!

Many questions which you will need to ask and investigate yourself, looking at many forums, you will quickly get the impression that it is an easy task to find the right MAP for your needs, but the long term will show you the opposite.

Chronopay is indeed a reliable solution and they have been around for many years and are reliable, they have tighten their acceptance of merchants during the years but are still good. GloBill I will leave in question, might be good might also be a failure. World pay, well if it isn’t high risk biz you are into, they are good but you can get it cheaper with your local bank (or the institution of your country for credit card processing).

Don’t get it wrong what we provide is not of interest here and might not be better or worse as the suggested, this isn’t also any hidden advertising of our services, I just wanted to outline that it is more important for any online merchant to get in the hand of people which know this industry and which don’t fool you into any solution which might hurt your business in the long term.

What about PayPal and Moneybookers are they not any good or is there a special reason for not mentioning them?
