Open and maintain a Cyprus company and do business,if Im not allowed in home country?

Can I register a Cyprus company if Im not allowed any longer to operate a business in my home country?

I didn't made anything illegal, my government just told me after I have closed 30 companies that Im not allowed to operate a business any longer for the next 5 years.

What I see is a workaround by registering and operating a Cyprus company, but do you think there are any complications?
