Requirement to open real offshore bank account or bank in Cyprus.

Does someone can help to let me know what requirements there are to open a offshore bank account?

Do you think it's possible to open an account for an offshore company in Cyprus even if I personally not allowed to operate a business in my local country?

I read that only requirement to open a real Cyprus bank account is a copy of passport and a utility bill not older than 3 month's and in certain cases a bankers reference letter...

I will apply for a bank account for my new Seychelles company as soon as the incorporation of the company has taken place, then I will report back here.

I got my Seychelles company well formed and my bank account in Cyprus opened after aprox 3 weeks... there was some delay for some reason.
