The problem is the Seychelles corporation it might be very difficult for you to find any reliable bank to handle the transactions, I would recommend you to look into payment processors like 2co.com or similar.

Thanks for the reply. I sell my own info products such as ebooks, video tutorials, etc. I have been working with clickbank so far, but their discount rates are insane (9%), which is why I was looking forward opening my own merchant account.
You will have a hard time to find any merchant account or rather find a bank which offers to open merchant accounts for Seychelles companies.
I would recommend you to incorporate in Europe in order to apply for a merchant account.... other posibilities are to use some 3rd party processor like clickbank or 2co which may have some higher fees.

I gave up to find a merchant account which can be considered offshore, since many of the companies available in the so called offshore countries are just a scam, you will never get paid. Always when I think I found a company I check google and the different forums available and it went out badly for others.... seems there is no solution for this.
Why does it need to be 1st Shopping Cart, if you have suggested OSCommerce or ZenCart or something the options have been more.... this is just not a very commen cart to use so the number of available payment processors are very limited.
I understand why you don't find a offshore merchant account, there is no company in this world who can be considered offshore and which offer real merchant accounts to offshore companies.
Most of the companies I contacted have a huge number of negative reviews on google...
Dont run after 3 balls when you cant even catch one.
May I ask what a offshore merchant account is? What is the benefit to have a merchant account offshore?
